Phone flicker, flashing

Hi guys I need some advice, I've had my phone a Moto g4 a few month now and for a while it's flashing or flickering its hard to explain I'm not tech savvy, the only way to stop it is to press the power button to to lock the phone then unlock and it works, Im on the very latest Android version, I've completely wiped the phone thinking it was a software issue, I've recorded ed a small video of it happening which I've uploaded to my YouTube account if someone could have a look. https://youtu.be/B45jbBB5kQs

Welcome to Android Central! Moved from the Nougat forum to the Moto G4 forum, since this is more likely a device-specific issue.

Does the touchscreen otherwise function normally? If the screen is registering "ghost" long-presses, it might bring up that screen.

Might be there are some flashing problem in your phone. You should check it from service center or you can get help from iFix Egypt.

Reply: I've spoken to Motorola about this issue, all I got back was it's because the battery is cold, keep it warm before using phone.??? Never heard so much garbage in my life.
