Nothing on my phone for May or any month than what is shipped with that stated January

It seems to depend on the region and (maybe) on when the phone was manufactured. I also still have the Jan security patch. Other people have March or May.

Mine got the March update out of the box when I got it on 11th August. There is no carrier locking here in India as far as I know.
