volume decrease when i am playing music of my moto g5, even though the volume is set to max?

Morning
When I play songs through "play music" or "youtube" the volume slowly decreases to the point where i can barely hear it, however the volume bar still shows it as being on max.

rebooting seems to reset it to its max limit however it just does the same again.

It usually happens after about 5 - 10 minutes and is a steady decrease in volume.

I have a moto g5 with android version 7.

I am listening to the music through basic headphones.
