Not yet. A new update is being released for the G5S here, so it must be close for the Plus.

I'll post here as soon as I get any news.

Cool! I wonder how long it’ll take them to roll it out world-wide.

I’m switching my sim back and forth between the G5S and Honor 7X, and will likely stick with whichever one receives Oreo first.

It doesn't seem to be true as no one from Australia has confirmed this, according to XDA Forum threads.In fact, someone said that there's no Oreo update there on his Moto G5 Plus.

Yeah, read about that now. It seems it was just a click bait article and a hoax. Even big boys like XDA and GSMarena fell for it. Oh well.

It seemed quite unusual for Motorola to provide OS updates to all models together. OS updates and soak tests usually begin from Brazil and then India as I have seen in the past one year.
There hasn't been any news of soak tests either. Have you heard of soak tests in your country ?
