Moto G6 Battery Question, Did I Get A Bad Unit?

I had a great experience with a Moto G5 Plus so when I needed a new phone I bought a Moto G6 (Amazon Special Edition) 4GB Ram and 64GB storage. I've had the G6 2 days and I'm starting to wonder if I got a unit with a bad battery. I unplugged my phone this morning and without even turning on the screen I was at 95% 20 min later. While Playing Clash Royale the battery will drain 1% every 30-45 seconds and it doesn't seem right, I expected more from a brand new phone. Does anyone else have any experience with this phone and is this normal?

I am in the process of returning the phone to Amazon and don't know if I should try again with the G6 or look for something totally different

Have You Tried doing a Factory Reset..if that don't work your Battery could be Bad

Most likely a bad battery. It sounds as if someone had the phone before and kept draining the battery to 0 until they got what you got, then returned it - and Amazon didn't actually check it out. (Assuming that it was sold by Amazon, not by one of their sellers, which almost always means that you're getting a used phone.)

I purchased it through Amazon directly, it was one of their "special edition" phones.I just think if this is what new battery life is like then in 6 months I'll be lucky to get 2 hours out of it.

It was a brand new phone fresh out of the box and I was waiting for a case to show up before using it but still right out of the box with nothing on it the battery life was bad

In addition to the apks you transferred from the G5 to the G6, it being a Amazon branded phone they install additional apks as well. Ive read on XDA about people being able to remove most if not all of the apks, i think without root. You might try that before returning it..

I returned it and got the normal 64/4gb G6 and it's better but still sucks. If anyone is in the market go with the 64/4gb G5 Plus. It's way better and over $100 cheaper.
