Setup icon on moto6 screen

[Android Central Question]

I've had my Moto g6 for some time now, all good a settings icon has appeared in the top left of the screen. When I swipe down I get an android setup notice telling me to connect to WiFi to continue setup. I'm connected and the phone works fine, it's just bugging me that it wont go away. T.I.A

Have you checked in settings ? Should be something you can toggle off like demo mode or similar.

Welcome to Android Central! Does it say which app is responsible for that notification? If not, long-press it in the notification panel and tap App Info.

Also, what happens if you tap the notification? Does it take you to some setup process?
