Not receiving notifications if the phone is in sleep for over an hour or overnight - Moto G7

[Android Central Question]

I just bought a Moto G7 (Android 9 ) couple of weeks ago and I started noticing that my notifications (whatsapp, gmail, outlook) are delayed since the beginning. I turned off adaptive battery and observed no change. I went into each of the apps and set battery optimization to not optimized. I noticed whatsapp notification issue not longer persists if I use my phone regularly (sleep < 2 hrs). But I am still facing issue with overnight notifications. Every morning I need to open each of these apps to see if I have anything new. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Android Central! Any other power-saving modes in the system settings, or 3rd party battery-saving apps? How about the Restrict Background Data option?
