So I saw that Google Fi is selling the G7 for $199. I sold my Pixel 3a for over $300 and picked up the G7. Funny thing is I thought I was just saving money. But I really like the G7. But I'm sure that people will think that I'm nuts for doing so.

Well pixel does have a superior camera, NFC and will be regularly updated for the next 3 years. The moto will be updated once or twice in that time.

The G7 is way underrated. It's a solid phone for $300. But for less than $200, it's an outstanding phone. If you can live without some fancy features like wireless charging and the fastest processor, it's one of best options. I'm glad it's working out for you.

Hey, if it works for you and you love it, then great! How are you enjoying it after using it for a couple of months?

I gave up the Moto G7 for the Pixel 4 XL. Having another baby and wanted to be able to take some high quality photos.

Hope you got a good deal. :)

The Pixel 3A for Verizon is (was?) on sale at Best Buy for essentially $240 ($9/mo, no bill credits + $40 activation fee). Much more comparable in value.

I didn't get a good deal. Paid full price. But I am very happy with it.
