Anyway, deleted all the reviews i pasted, since the site already writes it's own reviews, . And cross stitch information never really tells the whole story.

re: 720: Bottom line, people liked the screen.

Bottom line 1.7cpu, people thought it was very fast and smooth, smoother than s4.

Not sure if i should add other points, but for the curious (not for the challenged) here you go. : )

    What every reviewer liked:

The body. They really liked it. (1 did not out of the over 15 reviews i've read or watched)
The touchless Always Ready, every reviewer liked it, one said he started using it as habit.
The other new features added, every reviewer liked it.
The speakers, noise cancelling technology that motorola has been working on for some time.

    What every reviewer didnt:

    The camera

And a number of reviewers of Tech sites said they wanted the phone, $199 price and all.

    Random summary comments:
BGR: the Moto X is the most amazing Android phone I have ever used, and I think most people will agree.
Android Guys: Since reviewing the Moto X, my Galaxy S4 has found its new home, a drawer.
Mashable: I like it more than the HTC One, which used to be my favorite Android phone of 2013
Wired: An excellent Android phone. Very very powerful. (Wired gave the X and 8/10, and gave the GS4 a 7/10)
PC Magazine: Even though the Galaxy S 4 retains our Editors' Choice, if I was to personally pick an Android phone right now, the Moto X would be my phone.
Gizmag: So, no, tech journalists don't tend to travel light. But with all that gear, the Moto X has become the go-to device for nearly everything over the past few days as we navigated our way to Durango and the epic San Juan Mountains nearby. This is particularly surprising given my wife's near addiction to her Galaxy S4 and the fact that most of my data and apps are loaded onto my Razr. I'm using the Dell laptop to type this review and the Kodak camera to take pictures of the Moto X, otherwise, those other devices have barely even emerged from our luggage.

There were 2/15ish reviewers that didn't find it anything special and another 2 sites said not perfect execution, a few said it is a great first step. Everyone else was: Nice going.

Sry, deleted all the reviews! Just felt like taking them out, they're all over the web, and anyone curious should google moto x reviews.

And for the spec purists complaining, in your complaint or your 2 cents, please include how whatever spec you're on about negatively affects the user, or the performance/experience instead of numbers or words like "weak". If that translates into "slow", or "unable to open applications as fast as" please include so that the comments actually pertain to use. (and then read reviews)

    Also for the genuinely curious:

The phone is not for you if "really fast, snappy and buttery smooth" is not good enough, and you are looking for something faster than the last flagship that came out, or that combined with the need for an SD card. You should get the GS4 cuz it's the only major phone maker that still uses SD card storage.
The phone is not for you if you really need a good camera..
The phone is not for you if you need a big-a-- phone.

Everyone else, by all reports of those who have used it, thumbs up. Well worth consideration. You get everything the quad core boys get but with smoother operation, a better form factor, the phone always ready to set your alarms, navigate you, and add reminders without touching the phone, sneek peak notifications, better battery life. Also better gaming experience (better frame rates and runs less hot).

The 16GB for 3/4s of the carriers is obviously a bummer.

no problem. One of the things that i've always flinched to hear about android was that some phones were laggy or stuttery. There is nothing i detest more than lag or stutter, or glitchyness on an o/s. o-mg. lol. It makes me want to throw a phone against a wall. I will be a first time Android user and that is one of the 2-3 reasons i never switched over. woot! "Buttery smooth", music to my ears.

so few people complained even though they have not used the device and most people who used it are giving a positive review. That proves something!

you forgot AC review of MotoX!!!! The official review is not out yet but Phil Nickinson has been praising the device on the podcast.
