now that the Nexus is 5 is looking underwhelming in terms of its battery, camera, and non-worldphone LTE bands, i'm wondering about the Moto X.

i read something about the Republic Wireless version needing to be hacked to work on GSM?

also, does the Moto X have the right LTE bands for UK/Europe, or just the U.S. LTE bands?

    thanks!

    I believe the UK is 3, 7 and 20.

But I just read somewhere that Republic Wireless uses Sprint's CDMA network so I'm wondering if the $299 off contract Moto X will have GSM?
