box in middle of youtube app

A couple days ago I started getting a box (I think it's the chromecast logo?) in the middle of the screen while using the YouTube app. Any of your other moto x users get this/have a solution? Looked in all of the YouTube settings and can't seem to find a chromecast off setting.

I've had this happen to me twice. Both times was not on WiFi. Restart corrected it both times.

Same thing here...happening when I'm on wifi. Odd thing is, it seems to happen sometimes and not others. Ironically, I posted this same question on G+ earlier today. Hoping to figure out how to control it.

Its a bug with the youtube app. Its trying to connect to a tv. Go to setting> applications> unistall updates for the app. Read somewhere that they were working on an uppdate to fix.
