Motorola moves another component into the Play Store -

    Motorola Contextual Services: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...torola.context

    Description

Motorola Contextual Services helps in keeping your Motorola applications updated using the Google Play Store. This component provides core functionality to features such as drive, meeting and sleeping detection for applications like Motorola Assist and Motorola Touchless Control.

Note: Motorola Assist and Motorola Touchless Control may not work if you uninstall Motorola Contextual Services.

I'm assuming that this is already on my X. I went to the store and updated it. Is it part of Motorola Assist? Will it update automatically? Thanks for any info.

When I went to the Store link it was marked as 'Installed' there (I didn't go explore in my App drawer) just clicked the 'Installed' button and went thru the next couple screens to get it started on the update. Yes it is related to the Assist app and it will update automatically if that's the setting you have in the Store...I have it notify me when updates are available.

Thanks for the info. I also have it notify me. I have turned off the auto update. I like some degree of control.
