Forgot pattern, no "Forgot Pattern?" button??

I managed to completely forget my pattern after changing it, and so far I have 265 incorrect attempts and it hasn't once asked me if I forgot my pattern. The only way I've been able to get into my phone is because I have a Skip dot sticker which is stuck to my computer. My google account is set up on my phone, so how come I can't request a pattern reset? Is it because of the skip dot? Is my only way to reset it to just reset my phone?

If you set up android device manager, you can change the lock method via web...
