Changing the Default Moto X Camera App...

I would like a different camera app to come alive when I do the "double twist of the wrist" move to call up the camera.
Anyone know how I can do that on my new Moto X?

You can root and flash another camera app (nexus/aosp) but it won't work with the twist I believe. I think that feature is tied to motos app.

Root + some hackery, I reckon. The camera open gesture is a setting within the camera app.
