Google Keep data usage

For anyone using Google Keep, are you getting high data usage like mine? I make some notes here and there, about every 2-3 days. I don't make voice notes or photo notes. For several lines of text per note, it seems to use a significant amount of data. A few to several MB would make sense, but nearing 100 MB seems ridiculous.

I also use Keep to take a couple notes each day. The data usage over the few weeks is only a few MB. The most data I've seen Keep use over 2-3 weeks is about 18 MB. Then I decided to Greenify the app to make sure it didn't use as much data.

Question: are you typing the notes? recording them? or using Voice to text?

Only typing. I usually make lists. Maybe I should clear cache & data and reinstall?

Edit: I went ahead and cleared & reinstalled. I'll see how it goes.

I gave up on google keep. I just dont like the app and it's lack of options and features. I try to stick to everything google, but gave up on keep. I have converted to Tick Tick.

I have been using text only and it's a poultry sum of data.

I haven't had any problems with Google Keep but I went back and forth between that and Any.do. Google keep has a few more features such as location aware reminders but any.do is more reliable and has a better interface in my opinion. Also has a Chrome extension that syncs.
