Help tor etain emails on Moto X from MediaCom Email account

I just got a Moto X Droid and have had a droid previously from Motorola. I use Outlook with Mediacom and I think I know what's happening, but I don't know how to fix it. My email is dumped from Mediacom to my outlook whenever I log into my laptop. And always before the emails were left on my phone when this happened. BUT NOW...I think what's happening is when the email is dumped from Mediacom to my outlook it literally disappears from my phone - ARG! I went to US Cellular and they tried everything, but were at a loss in how to fix this.
Would anyone have a suggestion in what to do? Looking at an email ONCE might be a good organization virtue, but not one of mine. I am not at my laptop all the time and I often need this information.

Try the following settings:

Incoming:
Username: myname@mchsi.com
POP3 server: mail.mediacombb.net
SSL (if available)
Port: 995

Outgoing:
SMTP server: mail.mediacombb.net
Security Type: SSL (always)
Port 465
