Can I use without activating?

Why are you only using it as a wifi only device?? I'm trying to see if it's better than my G2. If it is I might keep it.

Because my company phone is a Verizon phone and I can't activate it on that line. Then on T-Mobile where I have my wife I'm not going to open a new line unless I know for sure I'm keeping it
