Re: 4.4.4 update for T-Mobile Moto X?

We may not see 4.4.4 as we were the first to get 4.4.3. There in not much difference between the two.

I would suspect we will go straight to android L.

There is only one difference between 4.4.3 and 4.4.3, and that's a fix for the OpenSSL man-in-the-middle security vulnerability. The problem is that there are absolutely no OEMs who seem to take Android security issues seriously. I really wish Google would come up with a plan to address these kinds of problems; issues like this have stopped enterprise Android deployments in their tracks at times. Nobody wants the liability of deploying a device with known vulnerabilities.

Say what you will about Apple, but this is one area where they got it right.

Re: 4.4.4 update for T-Mobile Moto X?

Another thread here mentions a Soak Test for XT1053 just came out. But not clear if its for 4.4.4. Since Motorola site says XT1053 is scheduled for the upgrade I am inclined to think it is 4.4.4. But don't think it will be a noticeable improvement if it is.
