Sensors turned on to show alerts after hand wave

Did they just turn on the ability to wave your hand over the phone (the 2013 X) to show the time and any alerts you have, as the 2014 X does? It seems to be happening now on mine.

This. I've had my OG Moto X since January of 2014 and I've been able to do that for as long as I can remember.

Same here. I think it's a little closer on the X-13, but I've always used The Force on mine.

Glad I noticed this post, I had no idea this was working. I've been using an LG G3 and only just went back to my Moto X a week ago. Cool feature!

I find it's easier just to nudge it anyway, but the hand wave does work.
