Why am I unable to switch on Wi-Fi on my Moto X 2013 (XT-1052)?

Unable to Switch on Wi-Fi on my Moto X 2013 (XT-1052)

When I turn on my Wi-fi , the slider is supposed move towards Right ( that is the On position), but it just automatically keeps coming back to the off position. It's very weird, I've tried rebooting and cache clearing.
I tap on the wi-fi toggle button and the slider goes towards left and just retracts back instantly. what should I do?

Check to see that you correctly typed in your WiFi name and password. That's the only thing I can readily think of as to why your phone is rejecting the WiFi "on" toggle. Try "forgetting" your WiFi connection and then re-adding it. Good luck.
