Why do I have a smaller camera Window on my Moto X 2013?

Smaller Camera Window in Moto X 2013

Usually the camera window was all over the screen, and the switch camera and video buttons were translucent over the camera screen, now there is a black band behind those buttons and the screen is smaller than it used to be. It just happened on its own. Its not even an update. :|

It might have been shifted from Widescreen (10MP) to Standard (7.8MP). Drag in from the left and check the icon under the 5th icon (after the movie icon).

Checked. That creates the issue you have.
