Moto X 2014 Need help cutting Sim

I am switching from Samsung S4 to Motox. I am looking to cut my sim card. I printered out Mini/Micro to NanoSim

and it looks like some of the gold part needs to be cut off. Is this cutting sim card have a high success rate.

I can't get a new sim card because my phone is company owned

Do yourself a favor and just get a new sim. The cutters do work BUT if your not really careful it will turn into a headache.
