Moto X Leather Care

Is anyone doing anything in particular to care for their leather back over time? I have had leather wallets, watch bands, belts, ect, but i have never done anything to care for them. Is anyone planning to do any oiling or anything? Any special precautions if the phone gets wet?

It is a very thin layer of leather adhered to a thin layer of plastic. Not sure if that would affect what you might normally do to care for a leather item.

Try a product called Lexol. Cleaner and Conditioner. People use that for all kinds of leather products, including purses, car seats, etc.

I'm waiting for someone else to take the leap, I may as some point use saddle soap on mine, but I won't use oil or anything until I see what others have done. Also, it does feel like a super thin piece of leather, you would want to be extra careful if you did oil it to not damage the glue behind it etc.
