Has anyone experienced this? My desk at work has bad LTE signal (on my old Android device, I switched default to 3G network - but I don't see this option on my AT&T Moto X under Mobile Networks in Settings). The phone was sitting on my desk for the day, and continuously drained with very little actual use. The signal is quite bad - I wonder if that's the reason. I have Google Now and Location turned off, and just Facebook and Gmail syncing.

Are there are Android apps I can use to force the phone to use 3G only? I can see if that helps.

Thanks!Screenshot_2014-11-17-19-17-41.jpgScreenshot_2014-11-17-19-17-47.jpgScreenshot_2014-11-17-19-17-54.jpg

I get a bad signal at work and that consistent with what I get. Screen on time and bad signal after the two biggest drivers to poor battery life.

Exactly! Every phone suffers from this. Some may deal with it better than others, but it is a common problem. I have a similar problem with really poor signal in my office. I turn my phone to airplane mode and when I go to take a break or go on lunch, I turn airplane mode off. It sucks but it's what I do so I have battery for the evening.

Did not help, phone still drained very quickly. 1 hr SOT, down to 15% after 13 hrs off the charger. Seems to be draining quite fast with Android OS and Android System the 2 largest drainers behind Screen.

I was hoping that this high battery "brain" was an unadvertised feature. Sadness.

I'm no expert but it seems your phone has a ton of wake locks, something is waking it up it doesn't look to be in deep sleep much.
