It installs as a complete separate application.
    I've installed but I haven't tested.

Unfortunately I can't install it...get to the 'Permissions' page and the Install button is completely unresponsive

Pretty disappointed to be stuck with an unimprovable 5MP Moto g stock cam

Go to settings - apps and hit the clear defaults on the app you are using to do the downloads then download it again and it will ask you which app to use to download the file, select chrome, then once it downloads you should be able to install it.

On my Moto X I didn't have any issues but when I tried on both of my daughters' 2014 Moto G it gave me your error, but the only difference was that both are using Es File Explorer as the default app to download files, once I did the above it worked at first try in both.

It'd be nice if Moto would release this for those of us who want more control of the camera. RAW files, metering modes, shutter speed and or ISO control. I'd be happy, happy, happy.

I don't have any other app for downloading on my phone. That's not the issue at all.
