moto x 2104 vs moto x battery life

I have moto x but im thinking to swap to the 2014 version.
I read some mix comments regarding the battery life of the 2014 model..
Are the battery life equal on regular daily bases?
I read that the 2014 model has worst battery life comparing to the 2013 model..

This is true.. The 2014 battery doesn't last quite as long as the 2013 battery, mainly because of the larger screen.

For me it's the same. My 2014 Moto X gets the same battery life as my 2013 one did, and with my 2014 Moto X it's even better on Lollipop.

Same to slightly better for me. In a typical day I usually don't need to hit a charger mid-day, but if I know I'm probably going to need my phone past 10 I usually try to put it on charger for a half hour or so.
