Moto x2 Straight Talk Data outside zip

Hi all,
I had an atrix 2 on straight talk at&t for several years and it worked great, mms, data wherever you would expect it when traveled. Got the Moto x2 and used this apn as provided by ST.
Name: straight talk
APN: tfdata
MMSC: hxxx://mms-tf.net
MMS proxy: mms3 .tracfone.com
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410

I had data, talk, text, mms worked, in my city, Madison, but when I left town, the phone still indicated "HOME" I had talk and text, but no data, not even edge, in areas I had data with my Atrix. I just checked ST website this morning, and I see that they have changed the recommended APN to this:
Name: straight talk
FIELD SETTINGS
APN RESELLER
MMSC hxxx://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS PROXY proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS PORT 80
MMS_APN RESELLER

So, we will see if this will work. Could this be because of the updata in Android system? Or is it possible that the CDMA was somehow interfering since it is a dual phone? Or does ST or ATT block data outside of the phone's home area now?

I've had success with the new "RESELLER" apn outside my zip for data, and MMS seems to still be working as well.
