..which is weird because $299.99 is the current price.

As I said in the other thread, all of the devices listed in the sale page are the last gen product names with the prices of the current gen. I think they have something weird going on and the Moto X Pure is reduced from $399 to $299.

$299 is for the 64gb 2nd gen. Im kind of curious about the 1st gen for $99 for a standby.

Will any of these work on Verizon?
YES

$299 is for the 64gb 2nd gen....

What I find odd is that there is no 64GB option for the Moto X 2nd Gen (2014) states 64gb is available only for Pure Edition and Net10 (unlocked Sim). Seems odd they would have it on sale but only just for that small niche... Would be really great if they had the Moto X Pure Edition for $299 even if it was only 16gb, w/the sd card option I don't mind buying a 16gb... been hemming and hawing all day about whether I want a Nexus 5x or wait to see if the Moto X Pure Edition is on sale on Monday... missed the $199 Nexus 6 deal this morning but really had doubts I was going to be able to live with the size...

I got my 2015 Moto X Pure Edition back in September but when I saw the 64GB 2014 Pure Edition was on sale for $299.99, I bought one to use when I want a smaller and lighter phone. It came in last week and I have not switched back to my 2015. Not that it is a bad phone but it is top heavy and just a bit too big and bulky overall for my liking, especially with a bumper or case.

I still have my 2013, two actually, that I was using when I wanted a smaller phone and I still think it is a a neat little phone but I am really smitten with this 2014 PE. So much so that if I don't end up using my 2015 for the rest of the year, I may end up selling it.

I am glad to hear that the 2014 will be getting Marshmallow but so far, that is really a non issue for me. Anyone else have a similar experience?
