Does Moto X 2nd gen charge over OTG?

OTG turns the power pins into output pins (to power the device you plugged into the cable) so no phone can be charged during OTG. (Some cheap Chinese tablets have proprietary charging jacks - if they do OTG [and that's questionable in a $40 tablet] you can charge and use OTG in them at the same time - until about a day after the warranty runs out, at which time they usually go bad.)

So does any other Android phone or tablet have the charging over OTG enabled or if any of them have two usb ports, one for data and one for charging?
Actually I have a requirement to log data continuously and this drains the battery of the android device. How can go about it?

Buy a phone with OTG and wireless charging. Buy a wireless charging mat and you can charge and OTG at the same time, I assume.
