It NEEDS to have a better camera. The camera is the only complaint I have about my 2014 Moto X. It's getting embarrassing how inconsistent and frustrating the camera is compared to the current crop of Apple, Samsung, LG, etc., offerings. I couldn't wait to upgrade from the 2013 to the 2014 X, but if the camera is no better in the 2015 model I might have to pass.

if it has a better camera and battery I'm sold ... their CEO already stated it won't have a fingerprint scanner cause they're "unreliable."

I would seriously consider it or the next Nexus if it has wireless charging. I don't want to go back now. Better battery and camera vs my Nexus 5 would be great.

I only expect so much out of a camera using stock cause of the limited software optimization. I do wish Moto goes back to pre Lenovo days when battery life was a bigger priority ... a camera of slightly less quality to the G4/S6 (like the iPhone 6 or Nexus 6 even), a 3200 battery, especially if it's removable, would sell me. Add wireless charging, fingerprint scanner, and front speaker(s) it'd be the perfect device IMO.
