Moto X Play power button feels stuck

Hello All,

My moto x play power button seems to be stuck. It looks like upper half of the power button do work as usual (expected), but the lower half of the button seems to have been stuck or seems like there is no space for it to go inside.

I have checked forums as well as youtube also, people have reported this issue, but only solution I got was to blow the air across the power button. But it doesn't seems to be a reliable solution. Anybody have any solution for it. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Tap on a hard surface from the power button side . Had the same issue on my Nexus 5.

Hello Gaurav, I want just a small clarification. When you say to hit it on a hard surface, do you mean hitting it the stuck portion of button on corner of table..is it so?? Does your Nexus 5 button also had stuck power button?

Yes bro .My Nexus had a stuck button . It kept on getting switched off , then I read it in a thread . Tap gentally from the corner near ur power button .
