Just curious because my cell signal is so bad at home. Never really thought about it until I was clicking though all the battery screens and saw the orange here.

On a side note I'm heading toward 3:50 sot from this full charge. Mostly web but also installing some additional apps and watching YouTube.

    No, it does not.

Your issue is that your phone is awake an awful lot when you're not using it. That's what's killing your battery. You have one or more rogue apps that are misbehaving very badly.

It's the high accuracy location. You can see many fewer wakes when I turned it to battery saver (circled in green) compared to when it was on high accuracy (circled in red).

I'm pretty sure bad cell signal can cause battery drain as well...wouldn't your phone be searching for a better connection? My graphs correlate that way...great reception, phones asleep...poor reception, phone stays awake.

Bad signal definitely cause battery brain because it will keep trying to look for better signal. That's what I am thinking.

    This!
I've had so many arguments with people who have claimed I have a wake lock problem on both my 2013 and 2014 Xs.
When your phone is searching for a signal it is awake. When it has a good signal it sleeps soundly.

So first full day was a struggle for the battery. If I had let it go to 0% I would have ended at less than 3.5 hors sot. Brightness I slider is about 40% or so.

Near the end I disabled then reupdated Google play services and wiped cache. We'll see tomorrow if that helps me.

My 2014 takes a big hit when I'm in poor signal areas.

I think it's pretty tough to gauge battery life for the first few days. I know when I get a new phone my usage is not typical for the first several days because I'm playing with something new. Plus I think it is typical for google play services to use a lot of battery for the first few days on a new device or following a hard reset.
