    noticed a light shine between bezel and screen. called Motorola and was told to sent them some pictures.. anyone have this problem

    Welcome to Android Central! Light bleed is relatively common to a small degree, but that's pretty egregious. They ought to replace it.

    Is that the bumper that came with the device or an aftermarket one? I have a case on my Nexus 9 which causes some light bleed (The case fits really snugly to the device)

    Looks like the OEM bumper. At any rate, like stated above, LEDs are prone to some degree of light bleed but that is beyond normal. You should only be able to notice it in a black screen. My unit doesn't have bleed at all.

    I also have pretty bad light bleed but mine is on the bottom left on the phone. I am replacing it with a new one using advanced exchange (maybe). I contacted them about the issue last Friday and they had me send them pictures also. They said that I could get an exchange and they would send me an email letting me know when my code is ready within 48 hours. That was 6 days ago. When I called them this morning they said that the replacement code was approved and waiting for it to be available to me. The csr informed me that they are dealing with a high volume of replacement orders and that this is the reason for the delay of my code.

    I have purchased 5 moto x, 3 moto x2 and this pure for myself and family over the years. Not even counting all of the Droid devices. I do like this phone but customer service is lacking terribly. My issue is small and I have a backup moto x2 if I need it so I'm not in a huge hurry for a replacement. I would be pretty pissed off right now if this was my only device and I had a major issue that would make it unusable.

    I do have such problem as well, but not so dramatic as yours.
    A small light bleed from lower right corner. If I squeeze the phone in this place, the problem disappears.

    PS sorry for mistakes
