I no longer have the toggle for auto focus. Only point focus/brightness in camera.
Thoughts?

On MM you can drag the bracket to set the focus and automatically adjust the exposure. You can long press and lock it ( a padlock will appear)
Then you can use the slide control to manually lighten or darken photos.
On the screen shot you posted from the camera app . If you had clicked on the question mark in the top right hand corner it would show you these tips I mentioned .
Looks like your looking for that setting on the wheel from your screenshot pic ?

Still available on mine. What version is your camera app? Mine is 5.1.10.3.

Re: Auto Focus Option Gone

I have 5.1.13.12
Kind of annoyed by it. I prefer the auto focus. Uninstalled the updates and its back. Why would that be considered an improvement?

Wow, that just seems like an oversight, doesn't it? No reason that can be considered an improvement.

Re: Auto Focus Option Gone

Correct me if I'm wrong but auto focus Seems to work automatically. It just happens to have the adjustable view finder as well. Clicking outside the view finder takes the picture. I actually like the way they implemented it since I thought that should have been default to begin with.

Center Autofocus is now the default. You can drag it to change focus or don't do anything and still take the picture.

Re: Auto Focus Option Gone

I just got the update as well. Ry is right about the new focus method.

New question, are grid-lines gone now, or am I missing something?

I don't believe this camera app ever had any grid lines at any point.

You know what, I was thinking that may have been the case, but I am not positive. I do have google camera installed and I use that for certain things.. maybe I just have the two confused. I still *kinda* think I had grid-lines on the Moto camera though - I am just not positive - lol
