Android Central Question

Is it possible to flash marshmallow factory images of moto x pure edition, xt1575, available on Motorola's website on my moto x 2nd gen, xt1096 with the following commands: fastboot flash partition gpt.bin
fastboot flash motoboot motoboot.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot
Will it cause any damage to the device or not?

Just in case anyone is looking for "Motorola's website", it's at https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/recovery-images (and you have to create an account and sign into it).

Once you hit the download button (check the "Agree box first) you'll see the 6.0 download at the bottom of the list (that's Marshmallow). (Whether you relock the bootloader when you're finished or not is up to you - I run my Pixel 2 with an unlocked bootloader - so when I brick it, I have a chance of flashing something to it and bring it back to life. [Just make sure that it never gets out of your hands - anyone can flash anything to if after they steal it from you - and all the security in the world won't help after it's gone because someone flashed a ROM without the security.])
