    Hello all,

After the Moto X camera update, I'm considering whether to switch to the Moto X from the HTC One but I wanted to know if there was a browser available on the Moto X that uses quick controls?

I find Quick Controls to be an essential feature for one-handed browsing. There was a method posted on XDA-Developers for how to install the AOSP browser (with quick controls) for 4.3 phones and tablets but to my knowledge the Moto X hasn't been updated to 4.3 yet.

    Thanks in advance!

Just downloaded "Android browser" from play store. Just like the native browser with quick controls. Works great.

Thanks for the recommendation. Having trouble finding it in the play store. Do you know the app developer? Or have a play store link?

Any update for Moto X's running Kitkat?

The Android Browser app worked great on 4.2 but seems to crash all the time after the 4.4 update.

Basically by sliding your finger from the edge of the screen it brings up a menu of commonly used shortcuts like bookmarks. Search for it on YouTube. It makes one handed browsing very easy and fast.

I miss my quick controls. Is there anyway to revert back to 4.2?

For a time I was using a version of Boat Browser that had that feature, a swipe from the right brought up a menu. They have several versions. Only one version had it I believe.

Chrome is nice but it takes too many presses to get to bookmarks. The menu button is awkwardly placed for one handed use. Overall it's a good browser but not good for one handed use.

This is my one complaint with Chrome, too. I wish they would incorporate some sort of slide-out feature to access bookmarks, similar to Dolphin.
