Defective battery?

Had my Moto X Style for about a month now it's an absolutely brilliant phone but the battery life SUCKS

Been getting no more than 2 hours screen on time and little more than 5 hours with moderate usage and can barely hit 12 hours before it dies under light usage. As for standby time, even with the marshmallow update I've gone to bed with 100% battery and woken up with 50% in the morning. I've disabled Moto Voice and Active display and I usually set the screen around 50% brightness.

Just wondering what everyone else's experience is as I'm not sure whether I have a defective battery or if this is just a general issue.

Go to Setting/General/Battery. Take a screenshot. Tap the graph to go to the second page and take a screenshot. Post them. (See How To Post Screenshots on Android Central.) We need to see what's happening.

Well it seems to be behaving today despite some fairly moderate usage but here we go anyway

Two things: it looks like your signal is poor and you have apps keeping your phone awake even when your phone screen is off. Both really hurt battery life.
