Camera not being held steady was the cause of the lack of sharpness. Only a camera with OIS would do better.

As for the unfaithful color rendition, I am betting you have two different types of light in the room... natural and artificial perhaps? Or fluorescent and incandescent? This makes it very difficult for the camera to set the right white balance. Thankfully, it's easy to fix in post.
