Hi,
Do I need to unlock my phone for it to work in Europe? I rather not post Verizon for an international plan. Thanks.

I would imagine so. Verizon is not in the habbit of selling carrier unlocked phones. I doubt Verizon will do it for free unless you paid for it in full. There is likely an unlocking service you can pay to do it.

Sent from my overpriced AT&T 4G LTE smartphone.

Verizon 4G phones come SIM unlocked.

Sent from my second brain.. Okay it is the only one working.

If that is the case, I have just learned something new. I am curious as to why they would even entertain that. Most carriers want you to keep the phone on their network.

Although, realistically there is no reason to SIM lock the phone anyway, IMO.
