Buy now or wait a week?

So I have an upgrade that I used on a Moto a while back. Long story short I had to send back on an error on their part. I got a new pin code and have until the 17th until it expires. I was holding out hope that the wood backs would show. I mean there were reports that they would be "in time for holiday shopping" but man there isnt much time left. So my options are to wait another week right up until the expiration OR buy a black or white and sell it when the wood finally shows. I know I'm being impatient but should I just wait a few more day? Not sure these are actually arriving this month.

If you don't need to phone now, I'd wait till the very last day (probably a day before just in case of errors). Doesn't hurt to wait and save the hassle of buying a phone now, and trying to flip it for one with a wooden back.
