Double calendar notifications

One is obviously coming from the calendar app but the second? They're identical.

Did you install the Google calendar too?

I have both and have to turn one of the calendar notifications off. Also every time the app gets updated I have to do this.

I had that issue a few years ago. I think it was because my device was set to sync calendars with 2 different gmail accounts or something like that, but I'm not positive.

I had this problem when I had both the stock Android calendar app (green icon) and Google calendar app (blue icon) loaded. I removed the blue one which I believe was moved over from my previous phone.

it should have stock and google calendar... disable stock calendar and u should be good

Thanks for the explanation; I didn't realize there's more than one second-party calendar app, both named "Calendar".

Is there any reason to prefer one over the other?

I use a third party calendar and disabled the other two.

Go into your samsung calendar (S Planner), go to settings, scroll down to "Select Alert Type" and set it to "off."
