How to increase the volume of touchless control

When I ask something from Google Now the reply volume is very low. How to increase it?

There might be a better way than my suggestion. I adjust the volume using the physical side buttons while Google Now is talking. For example, ask, "Why is the sky blue," and Google Now will read a long answer that gives you enough time to adjust the volume.
