Anyone think MOTO X Battery Case w/ Micro SDCard slot will be too late?

Since we have USBOTG, not sure the purpose of combining the card with a battery, especially considering you can't use both at the same time. Seems like a non-starter to me.

Please tell me more. I would like to have one as I plan to keep my MotoX for at least another 18 months. I am finding that the battery life is very poor especially when I use the location feature.

There is already a battery case sold at most At&t stores.
