Motomaker and backs

If you order the device through Motomaker and specific a certain back, at a later date, can you switch backs. So, if you order the wood model can you change it out for leather? In other words, does the back come off and can you swap the backs yourself if you want to change up the looks?

Unfortunately, backs are not swappable. Before first moto x came out it was thought to have swappable backs too, since moto was advertising that soon we would be able to customize backs, but we then learned they weren't swappable.
