HTC RE Camera

Picked up one of these on a Black Friday deal and am impressed with the thing... problem is it won't connect with my Moto X.

However, I have a Nexus 7 here, set up almost identically (android version, apps, BT, WIFI, etc.), and there are no issues with it.

It appears the discovery process is via Bluetooth, and the camera is in fact discovered by the Moto X. But the connection process seems to be via an adhoc WiFi network via WiFiDirect. Pretty sure of this as I'm seeing the Nexus 7 go off the WiFi LAN when connecting, and come back when disconnected. It is at this point in the connection process where the Moto X is failing.

Any suggestions on what to do to get it to connect?

Yeah... first tier was pretty much clueless, but they escalated it for me. Unfortunately, the process takes 7 to 10 business days, and I only have 14 days in which to return it.
