Lollipop in the UK

Anyone hear anything about the unlocked Moto X getting some Lollipop goodness in the UK? Just got my lovely leather Cyber Monday phone delivered, but missing Lollipop since shifting from the Nexus 4.

I've had mine for about a month, and there's still no sign of Lollipop. There's nothing much wrong with KitKat, but I'm starting to get a bit impatient now, as I thought the Moto phones were meant to be early adopters.

I phoned Motorola UK today. They confirmed that Lollipop has NOT been released for the Moto X in Europe (i.e. including the UK), so at least we haven't missed it. Unfortunately he was unable to give any indication of when it will be available - basically it will be ready when it's ready.

How annoying. I'm waiting for my Moto X to be delivered (ordered Saturday with my CyberMonday code) will miss bits of lollipop especially if I can't restore my app backups (messaging in particular). But that's life. Wonder what the delay is?

Out of curiosity I just googled for Moto X Lollipop in Europe and found this: Moto X (2014) : Lollipop est disponible en Europe ! - FrAndroid. Apparently, it is there for some. There is also an XDA-topic on this: XT1092 Lollipop OTA | Moto X (2014) | XDA Forums.

Just got 5.0.1 on my 2 year old Nexus 4........
So much for Lollipop out of the box.
