5.what? Are they still on 5.0, or did they bypass .0 and .0.1?

ATT is still on 4.4.4 I'm not sure which 5.0 is coming. I'll update this thread when the download comes through.

I realize that I maybe in the minority here, but I have read the email (it was posted on another site) and it is ambiguous or poorly worded (IMHO) as on at&t (i.e. running on the at&t network) is different than the branded at&t handset.

In fact a colleague with a Pure Edition Moto X received the very same email and took the survey, so either Moto is testing something related to at&t but not limited to branded Moto X's or Moto made a boo boo and sent out invites to a larger group than they intended. In fact there is a post on the Moto forums from a person who had a Pure Edition and according to his post uses it on at&t (he/she said time to time) and also got an invite.

For the most part 5.0 is pretty solid on my Moto X PE. So I'm sure the att version will be the same minus the bloatware. Let us know how the upgrades go! Friend of mine has one of these.

Does anyone know how to get included in either this soak test or future ones for AT&T? I like being a guinea pig.

Maybe Motorola got tired of ATT dragging it's feet and made every Registered Moto X owner a soak tester.....

The only issue I've noticed so far is that Google Play Services will not update past 31%. I've tried this on both wifi and 4g LTE. From the comments in the Play Store it looks like others have had this same issue. Any ideas on a workaround?

I took me a few times. And a reboot. I then let it be and it installed.

If you are still having this issue...try deleting the cached data. it is under storage in settings.

It must be because I'm not part of the soak test, and I have the update available on my X. I'm going to wait until I'm home to do it, since I don't want to be distracted.

I installed Lollipop and did a factory reset. All is good except for my Power Toggles widget which is nowhere to be found. I know the app is compatible with Lollipop, and the app is there, and so are my settings (like my toggle folders), but whenever I try to add a homescreen widget, there's no Power Toggles widget. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled to no avail. Dang. I know it must be something I'm doing wrong, but darned if I can figure it out. Anybody got any suggestions? The app isn't really doing me any good if I can't add a homescreen widget. Other than that disappointment (and the pain of doing a factory reset) I'm not having any issues with Lollipop thus far.

Okay I don't know why this worked, but I did a system cache wipe and for some reason all the widgets are there, including Power Toggles. Weird. I guess maybe after I did the factory reset and then restored my backups, I needed to do the cache wipe to fix the widgets. Anyways now I'm happy.

I'll give it a few days to see how Lollipop affects my battery life. I'm not crazy about the sound settings, but I knew that going in. I'll get used to that I'm sure.
