I want to buy a moto x but don't know if sim card will fit.

Welcome to AC.

If the card is too large, you can trim it to size; if too small, you can fit an adaptor to bring it up to a larger size.

Welcome to Android Central! The answer is no, unless you cut the current SIM card. The Moto X uses a nano SIM, while the S3 uses a micro SIM. Interestingly, from what I can find, the S3 Mini uses a mini SIM. But either way, you'll have to cut it.
