Hi Everyone,

In a haste to get out of the car for a job interview, I dropped my phone (Moto X) and although the screen didn't crack, it just went blank :( Looks like the display panel doesn't get power any more. I wanted to buy a refurbed fully unlocked Verizon Moto X (2014) to run on the T-Mobile network. Has anyone done that successfully here? I've been told it's totally possible since XT1096 does have the right GSM bands as well as the LTE Band 4 that T-Mobile uses.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

The short answer is yes, you can use the VZW Moto X on T-Mobile and ATT.

The long answer is, you'll want to double check which GSM frequencies/LTE bands the VZW model supports (I can't remember) and then see which T-Mobile is using in your area, to make sure you'll have good coverage.

First thing though, I would call Moto and see if they will give you a good deal on a new GSM model. I was having issues with my 2013 Moto X, and even though it was outside of the warranty period, they gave me a great deal on the 2014 model, I just had to send them my 2013.
