Ok Google won't recognize microphone

I'm having an odd issue with my Moto X Pure where "OK Google" isn't being recognized when I say it, even with Google now open. When I go into settings in Google now, then go into Voice, then into OK Google detection, then try to turn on From any Screen, and it says the microphone can't be detected, and to restart the device. I tried restarting but the same error popped up. It's not a huge deal, but it's weird.

Moto voice works just fine even with the screen off, so the microphone works.

Anyone else having this issue?

Sometimes other apps that utilize the microphone (like other voice command apps, or video camera apps) can interfere. Are you able to temporarily turn off or disable Moto Voice, and see if Google Now works better?

I have the same issue, also tried restarting the device. Now even "OK moto X" is no longer being detected! Have you found a solution?

i got the same message until i disabled moto voice. Then it works.

That did nothing for me... Google keeps telling me to restart due to microphone issues

I had the same issue, OK Google was working great but stopped after activating Moto Voice. Disabled Moto Voice and it works fine. Prefer Moto Voice though.
